Ranni Taluk is a forested and hilly region located in the eastern part of Pathanamthitta district, Kerala, with Ranni town as its headquarters. It comprises 10 villages, including Ranni-Angadi, Ayiroor, Cherukole, Vadasserikkara, Perunad, and Vechoochira. The area is known for its proximity to the Pamba River, rich forest cover, and eco-tourism spots like Perunthenaruvi Waterfalls. Ranni is largely rural and agriculturally significant.
