Pattambi is a taluk at the western end of the Palakkad district in the state of Kerala, India. The town of Pattambi is the administrative headquarters of the taluk.Pattambi, which is situated on the bank of Nila river, is an important town in Valluvanad area. The most important festival, Pattambi Nercha, is celebrated in February-March every year and people irrespective of caste and religion, take active participation, which is very famous in Valluvanad.
