It is situated 10km away from sub-district headquarter Adoor (tehsildar office) and 30km away from district headquarter Pathanamthitta. As per 2009 stats, Kadampanadu village is also a gram panchayat. Kadampanadu has a total population of 26,909 people, out of which male population is 12,548 while female population is 14,361.
