കാസർഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ നന്ദാരപ്പടവു മുതൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലയിലെ പാറശ്ശാല വരെ 1251 കിലോമീറ്ററിർ ദൂരത്തിൽ 54 റീച്ചുകളിലായി നിർമ്മിക്കുന്ന അഭിമാന പദ്ധതി. തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയിൽ ഒല്ലൂർ നിയോജകമണ്ഡലത്തിലെ പീച്ചി റോഡ് ജംഗ്ഷൻ മുതൽ വിലങ്ങന്നൂർ വരെയുള്ള ആദ്യ റീച്ച് മാർച്ച് 15 ന് റവന്യൂ, ഭവന നിർമാണ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. കെ. രാജന്റെ അധ്യക്ഷതയിൽ പൊതുമരാമത്ത്, ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. പി.എ. മുഹമ്മദ് റിയാസ് നാടിന് സമർപ്പിക്കും.
Public Works Department is one of the very prominent departments of the Government of Kerala and is the statutory authority for designing, planning, monitoring, constructing and undertaking maintenance of public works of the State Government such as Government Buildings, Roads, Bridges etc, irrespective of the source of funds for the same. The Department is headed by the Minister for Public Works and the Secretary to Government at the Secretariat. The present organisational structure of the Public Works Department is mainly divided into various wings based on the nature of works and each wing is under the administrative control of a Chief Engineer.
