The Kerala Parliamentary Affairs Department coordinates the government’s legislative business in the state assembly, acting as the key link between the government and the Legislature for scheduling sessions, presenting bills, and managing other legislative proceedings .It works closely with the Institute of Parliamentary Affairs (INPA)—established in 2003—to conduct research, training programs, workshops, seminars, and youth parliamentary competitions that strengthen democratic practices.
