The District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram, serves as the senior-most administrative officer of the district, responsible for ensuring efficient governance, law and order, implementation of government policies, and coordination of development programs. The role oversees revenue administration, disaster management, welfare initiatives, and inter-departmental coordination to serve the needs of citizens across the district. Functioning as the key representative of the State Government at the district level, the Collector reports directly to the Government of Kerala through the Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
