Alappad village is located in Karunagappally taluka of Kollam district in Kerala, India. It is situated 4km away from sub-district headquarter Karunagappally (tehsildar office) and 21km away from district headquarter Kollam. As per 2009 stats, Alappad village is also a gram panchayat. Alappad has a total population of 21,655 people, out of which male population is 10,689 while female population is 10,966.
