Mallappally Taluk is an administrative region in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala, with Mallappally town as its headquarters. It consists of 9 villages, including Anicad, Ezhumattoor, Kallooppara, Kottangal, Kunnamthanam, Mallappally, Perumpetty, Puramattam, and Thelliyoor. The taluk is largely rural and is known for agriculture, particularly paddy fields and rubber plantations. It covers an area of about 169 square kilometers and plays an important role in the agrarian economy of the district.
