Alappuzha Municipality, also known as "Venice of the East," oversees Alappuzha town in Kerala, renowned for its scenic backwaters, beaches, and cultural events like the Nehru Trophy Boat Race. This historic municipality spans 46.77 sq. km, housing 52 wards and a vibrant population of over 1,74,000.
The municipality includes areas from the Legislative Assembly constituency of Alappuzha and parts of Ambalappuzha constituency.
